freeglut is a completely OpenSourced alternative to the OpenGL Utility Toolkit (GLUT) library.

After connecting to Stanage (see Establishing a SSH connection), start an interactive session with the following command:

srun --pty bash -i

A version of freeglut can then be made available with one of the following:

module load freeglut/3.6.0-GCCcore-14.3.0

freeglut was installed using Easybuild, build details can be found in $EBROOTFREEGLUT/easybuild with a given module loaded.
