Attention
Following the recent operating system upgrade, software listings and module load commands now reflect the upgraded system. Some examples and notices are still being updated and may contain outdated guidance.
Intel oneAPI compilers
The Intel oneAPI compilers provide C, C++ and Fortran compilers for use on Stanage.
After connecting to Stanage (see Establishing a SSH connection), start an interactive session with the following command:
srun --pty bash -i
then choose the version of the compiler you wish to use by running one of the following lines:
module load intel-compilers/2025.3.3
module load intel-compilers/2025.2.0
module load intel-compilers/2024.2.0
module load intel-compilers/2023.0.0
module load intel-compilers/2022.2.1
module load intel-compilers/2022.2.0
module load intel-compilers/2025.3.3
module load intel-compilers/2025.2.0
module load intel-compilers/2023.0.0
module load intel-compilers/2022.2.1
module load intel-compilers/2022.2.0
Compiler commands
The following commands invoke the oneAPI compilers:
Language |
Command |
|---|---|
C |

C++ |

Fortran |

Some older versions also provide the classic compilers
icc, icpc and ifort. Their availability depends
on the module version.
Compiling a program
After loading the module, compile your source file using the appropriate compiler:
icx -O2 program.c -o program
icpx -O2 program.cpp -o program
ifx -O2 program.f90 -o program
Run compiled programs within a Slurm allocation.
