IDL
IDL is a data analysis language that first appeared in 1977.
Usage
IDL versions can be activated using the module file:
module load apps/idl/8.8/binary
The IDL licence is restricted - please contact us via helpdesk if you need to use this software.
Installation notes
Installation of IDL 8.8 on Sharc was a binary installation.
The module file is
/usr/local/modulefiles/apps/idl/8.8/binary.
Please note that the module file has been edited to ensure folder creation and symlinks have been applied to license/flexera-sv and license/flexera module subdirectories to point into /tmp/Harris/License/flexera-sv and /tmp/Harris/License/flexera as per:
