Attention

GPU users: GPU nodes run EL9, while this documentation still reflects the EL7 software stack.

Run module avail on an EL9 login node, or within an interactive session on the relevant GPU type, to see the software available.

The documentation will be updated once all nodes have migrated to EL9.

Autoconf

Autoconf is an extensible package of M4 macros that produce shell scripts to automatically configure software source code packages. These scripts can adapt the packages to many kinds of UNIX-like systems without manual user intervention. Autoconf creates a configuration script for a package from a template file that lists the operating system features that the package can use, in the form of M4 macro calls.

Note

This is an autogenerated page, more detail including examples may be available for this package. Please see the first section of Software on Stanage

After connecting to Stanage (see Establishing a SSH connection), start an interactive session with the following command:

srun --pty bash -i

A version of Autoconf can then be made available with one of the following:

module load Autoconf/2.71
module load Autoconf/2.71-GCCcore-12.3.0
module load Autoconf/2.71-GCCcore-12.2.0
module load Autoconf/2.71-GCCcore-11.3.0
module load Autoconf/2.71-GCCcore-11.2.0
module load Autoconf/2.71-GCCcore-10.3.0
module load Autoconf/2.69
module load Autoconf/2.69-GCCcore-10.2.0
module load Autoconf/2.69-GCCcore-9.3.0
module load Autoconf/2.69-GCCcore-8.3.0
module load Autoconf/2.69-GCCcore-7.3.0
module load Autoconf/2.69-GCCcore-6.4.0
