NGS

NGS is a new, domain-specific API for accessing reads, alignments and pileups produced from Next Generation Sequencing.

After connecting to Stanage (see Establishing a SSH connection), start an interactive session with the following command:

srun --pty bash -i

A version of NGS can then be made available with one of the following:

module load NGS/2.11.2-GCCcore-11.2.0

NGS was installed using Easybuild, build details can be found in $EBROOTNGS/easybuild with a given module loaded.
